Purchase Consultating Services

What does the process look like??

​

1. Call me and lets have a quick chat to see if working together sounds right for us!

​

2. We will set up an initial 1.5-2 hour long meeting where I can answer any questions you may have while we also discuss your needs, riders riding level, horse ownership experience, goals, day dreams, timeline, where you are at right now in your search, budget and so much more. 

​

3. Depending on your needs we will either work together or I'll do the work for you to do one or more of the following: comb through horse ads and use my nationwide network to find a variety of potential horses locally and/or out of state, talk with sellers for more information, review sale and riding videos, trial horses for training level and compatibility evaluation with you, navigate through deposits, contracts, and sale prices, schedule, attend, and discuss results of pre purchase vet checks and/or farrier consults, finalize sale and paperwork transfers between owners, state officials, and buyer, and facilitate transportation to home or boarding facility.

4. If you need added support after the purchase of your horse I offer many follow up services as well and information on those can be found HERE

To help fit within any budget I offer the following services per hour:​

Over the phone or zoom: 

  • Free 20 minute chat to go over your needs and determine if working together is right for you

  • 1.5-2 hour long initial consultation with buyer- $75

    • Discuss your goals, dreams, experience level, riding level, budget, etc to nail down ideal horse to look for, discuss pros and cons of breed, gender, age, training style, background, and color; evaluate and advise on any horses you are currently looking at, answer any horse owning or buying questions you have, go over any vet/farrier/trainer information you have, make recommendations as needed, discuss working together in the future

  • 1 hour long consultation on one or more horses - $55

    • includes reviewing ads and videos over the phone with you where I will evaluating training, behavior, and rider in video as well as if horse is a good fit or not

  • 35 min long SOS call - $30

    • Are you about to buy a horse or looking to travel a long ways and need to know if it's worth your time or money? During this quick call we will go over the basics of what you are looking for plus the riders experience level, review all information you have on the horse, go through my "have-you" checklist, and give my professional evaluation to aid you in your decision making.

  • Around the clock on-call services - $450/month

    • Includes initial consultation call and gives priority access to discussing any general questions you have or horses you find, decision making or other consulting needs, basic horse questions, etc, etc

    • I am available to you by phone or text Monday-Saturday from 830am-830pm MST and Sunday from ​10am-730pm MST

    • Perfect package for anyone wanting a great supportive team available anytime through their journey!

Behind the scenes: (initial consultation required first for working together) 

  • Schedule farrier visits, boarding facility visits, pre-purchase vet exams, get transportation quotes: 

    • Quote provided based on needs

  • Compiling of potential horses - $100 per 5 horses

    • Search through horse ad's, videos, posts, vet sellers, and reach out to pre-approved trainers within agreed upon search area(s) to compile list of potential horses within your budget. Will send you list with links and thoughts about why each one was chosen

In person or Zoom: (initial consultation required first for working together) 

Consultant riding evaluations currently unavailable until July unless assistant available

  • Evaluate rider and horse both on ground and in saddle for potential match, evaluate physical and behavioral state of horse to best of my knowledge, talk in detail with owners/sellers about horse, go over price and help buyer make a decision on the horse, in private.

    • $75 per horse, does not include travel costs (mileage driven, flights, hotel)​​​; multiple horse discounts available

  • Above included, plus personally evaluate horse in saddle and on ground with buyer present

    • $120 per horse, does not include travel costs (mileage driven, flights, hotel)​; multiple horse discounts available

  • Personally Evaluate horse on ground and in saddle for physical, mental, and training insight, without buyer present

    • $175 per horse, does not include travel costs (mileage driven, flights, hotel)​​; multiple horse discounts available

  • Schedule and attend farrier visits, boarding facilities, pre purchase vet exams, transportation, boarding facility/home arrival

    • With buyer- $25 per horse​, does not include travel costs (mileage driven, flights, hotel)​; multiple horse discounts available

    • Without buyer- $40 per horse, does not include travel costs (mileage driven, flights, hotel)​; multiple horse discounts available

  • Premier Level Consulting Package: $750/mo

    • Includes all of the above with unlimited amount of horses evaluated.

    • This is for the buyer that wants to be present and active throughout process​ with guidance and assistance every step of the way. 

    • Includes a welcome home starter kit with product samples, grooming tools, and other fun surprises for you and your new horse

  • Star Level Consulting Package: $1250/mo

    • Includes all of the above with unlimited amount of horses evaluated PLUS tack, nutrition, and local services recommendations post purchase

    • This is for the hands off buyer that wants the best horse for them but enjoys being hands-off during the process and leaving a large part of the details to someone else. 

    • Includes a welcome home starter kit with product samples, grooming tools, and other fun surprises for you and your new horse
